Originally from Rhode Island, Marissa has lived all over the country, moving every few years with her military husband. After a trip to Charleston in 2012 to visit family, she knew this was the place she hoped to one day call HOME. And in 2018, that dream became a reality when the Air Force moved Marissa’s husband & family to Charleston – and now she plans to never leave!



Prior to entering the real estate industry, Marissa started her professional career in forensic accounting, where she performed asset and debt analysis and valuations for clients involved in financial litigation matters. While she truly enjoyed her work in accounting, Marissa had a deep desire to move beyond the cubicle to help people in a more direct and meaningful way. Since beginning to finally put down roots here in Charleston, Marissa has found great joy in investing into her community and the relationships she has built with the people around it. She also understands that buying a home is about more than just a place to live – it’s an integral piece to each person’s life story and the memories created there.

In her free time, when she’s not spending it with her family, working on DIY home projects or gardening, Marissa loves finding new ways to immerse herself in the low country’s rich history, culture, and most importantly – the incredible food!
