Charleston Neighborhood Tours | Summers Corner in Summerville, SC
Summers Corner is a growing, award winning community in Summerville, South Carolina. Developed by Lennar Homes this neighborhood is impeccably designed and features all the amenities and comforts anyone could be looking for in a place to call home.
Cleverly nicknamed the Daniel Island of Summerville, this is a neighborhood you definitely need to check out. A place living comfortably in the space between town and country, where several small neighborhoods are clustered around iconic parks, where a walkable village center invites you to gather with friends and neighbors, and where the spectacular setting of freshwater lakes and pine forests connects you to a much larger and wilder community in nature. With thanks to the East Edisto Conservancy, over 53,000 acres of this land will remain permanently undeveloped, maintaining its heritage and character forever.
First stop is the water's edge. One of the defining landmarks at Summers Corner is Buffalo Lake. Here you'll find an open air lakeside pavilion with a broad deck and grassy area, as well as a fishing dock and a place to store and launch canoes and kayaks. It's a great spot to gather with friends or simply enjoy some quiet time on the water.
